A different kind of snow

Piles of snowflakes:

I was hoping to have them shipped out already, but I've been home sick with the stomach flu, and it just didn't happen...Thankfully, I could finally sit up yesterday, so I finished the last two. I soaked them in the wax last night and now they're drying. I'm hoping I can get them mailed today, but we'll see...the kids I nanny for have Kindermusic and I have to pick the other one up from preschool, so I'm not sure I'll have time.

  1. Those are beautiful. Do you have a pattern to follow? What is the reason for soaking them in the wax?

About Me

Boise, Idaho, United States
To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury; and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable; and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasion, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony. William Henry Channing
