My craigslist finds!

I've been looking around on craigslist for a dining set for the new place. No luck in that department, but I did find some things that were too good to pass up.

First, a chair for my sewing room. I need to clean it a little (it had been stored in the garage), and I'll probably try to recover it at some point. I think it will be a comfy little spot to sew. Plus, I only paid $3 for it!

Second, some super cute shelves that I just couldn't resist. They were a steal at $5 each! There are 2 (the second one is being delivered today) and they're FABULOUS. Solid wood, nicely built....I'll probably paint them to match my sewing room and maybe put some patterned paper or fabric in the back.

From the side:

P.S. Sorry for the lovely garage pictures. I'm not big enough to get the stuff into the house on my own! :)

  1. What fun finds. Pottery Barn Kids sells shelves like that (for a lot of money of course.) I think they'll be great in a sewing room.

  6. Thanks Steph (lovestitches...I had to look your name up! :) )

I think they'll be super cute that way too. I've got a bigger one that's in the closet, waiting for the fabric once I get it folded.
