Crafty week begins!

So, hubby is currently out of town doing some super cool computer forensics training with the secret service. Yes, he now has a lanyard with "United States Secret Service" on it and I have a feeling he'll be sleeping with it on. ;)

Anyway, since I'm alone, I'm crafting. The little one I nanny for (and her cousin, who I used to nanny for) is/are turning two (their birthdays are a week or two apart), so I've been working on gifts for them. I decided that felt play food might be fun, so here's what I've got so far. I made two of each. Pancakes with syrup and a butter pat and blueberry poptarts.

Sorry the lighting sucks on these, but I was taking them at midnight.

Aaaaand one together:

Next up: eggs and maybe milk or juice

  1. what a cute idea!! We lived in Huntsville, Alabama about 1 1/2 hours from Hoover, Alabama. My brother-in-law use to live in Alabaster, AL, which is right there near Hoover.

To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury; and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable; and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasion, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious grow up through the common.
