What I've been up to...

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I'm grumpy and ready for spring and I'm trying not to spread my bad attitude. ;)

Instead of actual productive things, I've been dinking around mostly.

I made another grocery bag:

Note to self: Jeans with stretch in them are a pain in the butt to stitch down as a straight accent piece:

Here's a blurry shot of the actual bag:

And I've been working on beaded ornaments. All. The. Time. It's mindless, and that's what I need right now.

Here's an idea of my progress. LOL. I'm too lazy to dip the ornaments, so I'm just throwing them in a vase for now:

  1. I'm right there with you on the grumpy (sorry to say.) This week I think I'm fighting a bug, and I'm SO, SO tired. This also means my house is getting very dirty, sigh.

I like the results of your tinkering! I wish I even felt like sewing.

To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury; and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable; and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasion, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony. William Henry Channing
