Gratitude Friday

A few blogs I read have started doing this and I think it's a neat idea. I want to focus on the things that make me happy at least once a week.

To begin, I'm thankful for a job I love (I'm a nanny for 2 families).

I've been blessed with a few great jobs, but frankly...any job that involves kids makes me a happy lady. They help me to capture the simple joys in life...like making paper airplanes, and flying around the room with "woobie" capes.

I'm thankful to be a little part of these families, and that I get to share in those moments that make their children's eyes sparkle.

About Me

Boise, Idaho, United States
To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury; and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable; and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasion, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony. William Henry Channing
